I was raised in a traditional home and imbued with good values. People invested in me over the years: my parents, their friends, coaches, teachers, family, leaders, peers and volunteers showed grace and gave me confidence through encouragement I did not deserve. I try to emulate those who mentored me. I will press forward: engage, think, feel, re-evaluate, and question.
